What happens when two curious dogs discover something that seems to have all the answers?
Jackson and Noodles are off on another adventure when an ordinary visit to the public library leads them to a mysterious interactive display—a Magic Mirror that invites them to ask questions.
And Noodles has plenty of them.
Are the stars still in the sky when the Sun comes up? Are there other worlds beyond our own? Why does music work the way it does? And how can we understand all the amazing things we see around us?
With Jackson by her side, Noodles begins a journey of discovery that reaches from the library to the stars and back through history. Along the way, encounters inspired by great thinkers such as Galileo, Pythagoras, and Socratesencourage the two dogs to observe, wonder, listen, and—most importantly—keep asking questions.
Based on the original song “Tell Me Why” by Doxter S, The Magic Mirror combines music, storytelling, imaginative illustrations, science, history, and a little magic to celebrate a child’s natural curiosity about the world.
Young readers don’t need to know all the answers. Sometimes the adventure begins simply by asking:
Why?
The Magic Mirror is an illustrated adventure for children and families who enjoy dogs, music, discovery, and exploring the wonders of the world together.
