Backdoor by Doxter S: Airplay on the Country Barnyard 305

This song (Backdoor by Doxter S) was inspired by an idea given to me by my friend Bobby McDavid who’s late father was a self-taught mandolin, guitar, and harmonica player from Gate City, Virginia, and was the founder of the Munsey Bob McDavid Bluegrass Band. He was invited  at the age of 6-years old to perform on stage at Carter’s Fold with the great Bill Monroe. The lyrics I created are loosely based on notes for a song that never had a melody. I think Bob McDavid the elder would have liked how this turned out. Backdoor by Doxter S is retting airplay:

Doxter S will have his original song Backdoor played on Country Barnyard 305 internet radio station starting 8/23/2018

Lyrics
You Sneaked in through the backdoor of my lost and lonely heart
And you Tried to make a big fool out of me
Broke my Family and my home, left me poor and all alone
You Left my heart in pain and misery
You took Everything I had, but that’s Not what gets me mad
First you Robbed me then you tried to ruin my name
Now I Stay here in this place, I’m ashamed to show my face
I’m a Broken man, and I have you to blame
You broke Every vow you made, girl I Know when I’ve been played
First You Promised then you cheated and you lied
But if You try something slicker on the backdoor of my ticker
You will Find that sucker’s locked from the inside
You Sneaked in once before using the Backdoor of my heart
But you Won’t sneak in again so easily
It’s not Like it was before ’cause it ain’t open anymore
That Backdoor’s locked and you don’t have the key
